These are the steps required to create Contact Sheets with Ifranview eg if needed for Photography etc
Step 1 - log on as usual and go to the Start Menu > All > and click on 'Photography Contact Sheets (IT4)' as shown below:
Step 2 - in the new window that then opens (shown below) then select the folder containing the images you want to make into a contact sheet - normally this would likely be the 'My Pictures' folder for instance:
Step 3 - now select the required images you want to make into a contact sheet eg using ctrl to select individual images and/or click & drag to select multiple images - only those images selected will go to form the contact sheet:
Step 4 - now go to File > and select the option 'Create Contact sheet from selected files' as shown below:
Step 5 - in the 'Create Contact Sheet' window that should now pop up (as shown below) most of the default settings are likely to be okay though you may want to change those options circled orange to create a suitable contact sheet and/or have a play around to select the best options for you, then click 'Create' when you're ready to create the final contact sheet:
Clicking the 'A4' button creates an A4 size contact sheet
Standard number of rows is 5 but you can amend it to 7 or another number if would like more images on the sheet
'Choose' by the Font option to amend the font size/colour etc used to show the filenames below each image in the contact sheet
'Print all pages' should print all the required pages
Step 6 - in the print options window that should now pop up, customise the printing as required eg colour/black&white, though probably worth selecting 'Best Fit' so the print out fits the A4 page well and click 'Print' when ready:
Step 7 - if you're likely to need the contact sheet containing these images again in the future then its possible to save it from the Clipboard window, or alternatively now just close all the open windows as your contact sheet should be now printing out:
